Care Instructions
- Hand Wash Preferred: Gently wash in cool water (max 30°C) with a pH-neutral silk detergent.
- Machine Wash (Optional): Use a mesh laundry bag on the delicate cycle. Use a low-spin setting and never tumble dry.
- Drying: Air dry in the shade. You can hang it on a wide, padded hanger to maintain shoulder shape, or lay flat.
- Ironing: Silk looks best when smooth. Steam vertically or iron on the reverse side (low heat) while slightly damp to remove creases and restore shine.

Which color should I choose?
Three shades, each a different mood. Blush Pink is soft and warm — the everyday romantic. Liquid Gold is antique and luminous, the one that reads most luxurious. Midnight Navy is deep and grounding. All are woven from the same 22-momme Grade 6A silk, so they feel identical — it’s purely about the mood you want. Colors can look slightly different across screens; message us if you’d like guidance.
How do I find my size?
The robe comes in two sizes, both with an adjustable tie belt for a personalized fit. M fits US 2–8 (petite to regular frames); L fits US 10–14 (regular to fuller frames). How do I wash and care for it so it lasts?
Hand washing is best — cool or lukewarm water (never hot) with a gentle silk detergent. Submerge and agitate gently for a couple of minutes; never scrub or wring. Rinse in cool water, press out excess, then lay flat to dry away from sunlight. If you machine wash, use a mesh bag on the most delicate cold cycle and skip fabric softener. Never tumble dry. For creases, use a cool iron with a pressing cloth, or hang it in a steamy bathroom.
Why 22-momme — is it worth more than a cheaper silk robe?
Momme describes the weight and density of silk fabric. At 22 momme, this robe feels fuller and more opaque than lighter-weight silk, with a fluid drape designed for regular wear. Longevity also depends on construction and proper care.
Where is it made?
In Suzhou, China — the city in the Yangtze Delta that has woven silk for two thousand years, and where the finest mulberry silk still comes from. UNESCO lists Chinese sericulture as intangible cultural heritage. Every robe is finished and inspected there before it ships.
Is it real mulberry silk, and safe for sensitive skin?
Yes. It’s 100% Grade 6A mulberry silk — the highest classification — with no charmeuse blends or polyester mixes. It’s OEKO-TEX certified, independently tested and confirmed free from harmful substances and safe for direct skin contact, including sensitive skin. Each order ships with authenticity documentation.
